Cargo Containers

The most prevalent kind of container on the market is the Cargo container. Usually built of steel, but occasionally aluminum is used. The payload capacity of the aluminum containers is somewhat greater. Containers are typically water- and airtight, guarding against external damage.

Doors at one end of the container are used to store the cargo. Although 20- and 40-foot containers are standardized in size, each operator may have a different container capacity.

Most sorts of dry cargo, including boxes, pallets, bags, barrels, etc., can be transported in standard containers.
